Got the DA set up . Pain in the butt . Took a bit to figure out .I know it like the back of my hand now . Set the frags back in the tank after breaking down the 70 cube . I had my LB dimmable ballast with a mini LB . Pole was bent from electrical conduit and painted black .250 watt Helios bulb The SLIM line S led was not released yet .

So after this .Life went to crap . I decided to go back to school .Etc , Etc I broke the tank back down . Movers came and I left the frags with a buddy .

Thanks guys . Bent metal coinduit and a LB mini . I used my old pole from the other cube.

Pole and lights came from this tank . Old pic

I am western mass now .
So I set the tank back up when the movers arrived . Got around to playing with the dosing pumps .
Picked up some containers from the dollar store .Had no room in the stand for the dosing unit . Bought this cube storage from Target.
Made the rounds of the LFS's . Got some silicone tubing to run to the BM dosing pump tube holder

The other 4 unit doser is still in the box . I did not realize I got the wrong stuff for balling salts , DOH . 1 ECO calcium plus , 2 . ECO dkh buffer ,3. ECO mag chloride .
I just switched the buffer to kalkwasser . This is really a A B dosing solution with mag . Not the balling salts I was using in the bottles . U can see the pole mounted to the side at this time .
Pic is about 7 plus weeks old .

It ended up sitting beside the tank .

Water is pretty low in tds but bad for some reason .
I made like 40 gallons of water and look at the pre-filter. I had to configure my ro and di together to get to 0 tds . 5 micron to 1 micron , gac to carbon block to ro and then two di's .

With the halide, the tank shot up to 85 degrees from 77 . I had it pretty high off the tank
I decided to use the AC unit in the living room . They do not believe in central air around here since all the homes were built in the stone ages . LOL
The halide had to go .
I called SunBrite and talked to Tim . He hooked me up through EA to sell me the new SLim line S leds .
I had it shipped pronto . This puts me about a month out from today
It arrived .

I had a mishap from the fixture . The mounting bracket was not tapped for the bolt screws . One call to Tim and left a message . He called back within the hour . I explained the issue . He sent a replacement part over nite . Good service and support in my book.
Mounting concerns . Water and metal interaction . Not kosher for me .
SB advised sitting the metal in the water would be warrantied .
I found some scrap wood to make a mount for the light . It would sit on the external over flow box and mount to the back of the tank . I could mount the fixture to the bracket keeping the fixture dry . I painted it black too .
