more expensive frags

Hey guys,

I've got a couple of more expensive "collectible" frags that I would be willing to sell.

The first one is of safecrackers. These will be $20 for 5 polyps and I will only make 2-3.

Then I also can make a frag of the PHEs that I have. But these are being sold at the same price I paid for them, which is $20 per polyp. I am going to sell a max of two frags at 2 polyps a piece.

I know these are pricey but if you check it out, you'll see that this is the going rate. I wouldn't normally sell this stuff but you know...big tank money blues!!

Hey there, so I'm not shipping anything...do you have a way to pick it up?

Or I will be in Nashville dropping off frags in a couple of weeks (maybe three).

Mel,
I will take a frag of the PHE and maybe the safecrackers too. I do not think I bought the safecrackers from you the other time. If you are good to go I will pay you but would you be willing to hold until I get back from DisneyWorld?
Mike

Hey Mike...remind me when you go to Disney?? I am sure you told me (I actually remember you saying something about it) but I just can't remember when it was.

It's no problem...I will cut you these two frags this weekend and hang on to them for ya!

Thanks. I am gone 24 - 31. This will be our 7th trip in 2 years. It is my wife's one true obsession in life. If I spent the same on a reef I could have a 500 gal. easily. I will pay you next week before I leave so I can "donate" to Mel's big tank fund.

Oh that's really nice Mike. Thanks!

I am totally supportive of your wife's obsession. I LOVE LOVE LOVE Disney world. It's awesome BUT 7 times in 2 years? Holy hell that's a lot of Disney. What's left to do after 6 trips?

I sure hope my next attempt at having a tank is successfull. I am tired of reading about the opportunities to have stuff when I cannot. Of course I guess I could just stop reading until I can have some. Oh well. Got any pics Mel, so I could even feel worse?

Eddie

Eddie, don't feel bad. I will have these when you get your tank ready.

I'll be sure to get you some frags at that time...no problem.

(that's not my picture but I did get these zooanthids from that guy...Hellraisers30...who is very nice btw).

Here's a link to a thread that Hellraisers30 has posted in. I just put this here because you can see a picture of these in his avatar.

Mine do not look as blue at the moment. They do look blue but I have them at the bottom of the tank so they aren't this electric super blue (also I don't have actinic supplements). Once again...not my picture.

Thanks Mel, cannot wait to get them. I do not think there will ever be an end point to zoa collecting. But if you look at it the right way, there are not too many collectables around that cost so "Little".
As far as Disney I have gone 25+ times and that does not include multiple days. There is always something new to do and see. We use to go hell or high water. One day one of the other teachers was proud because he had ridden space mountain 3 times. Our reply was "Fourteen for us!" It was lightning out and people decided to stand inside stores to watch the rain. We would just run back in line each time. Now our focus has shifted to family with small child so winnie the pooh is in and it is fun to watch Madison enjoy her day. She recognizes Disney World on TV which might be a bad thing.
In the last two years: once for the family at spring break, twice at Christmas with my parents instead of exchaning presents, once at Halloween, 3 times as a chaperone for the science club (my wife organizes the entire thing including air travel, hotel, park tickets, behnid the scenes tour, and a surprise for the students. The other teacher calls for a bus to the airport. His part takes around 5 minutes. This years budget is 25K and she has to account for every penny) This year she was able to raise enough money for a student to go for free.
I hate crowds and waiting so going off season makes it much more enjoyable.

Mel,

Put me down for another safecracker to add to my list of other frags. I just realized my rabbitfish decimated the safecrackers, as well as the PHE's. At least it has 'taste' in zoas;).

Ok so that's it then. safecrackers and PHEs to foggy, safecrackers to Gary, and safecrackers and PHEs to Mike.

Dave...I'll put you first on the list. No problem!

Ok so I have one safecracker frag and one frag of two PHE polyps back up for sale if anyone wants them. If not...it's really no big deal at all.
