More is better?

This is why I keep experimenting. Well changed my lighting out of boredom, changed photo period to save AC running. Noticed a few changes, one I knew from past experiments other enhanced the results. First light spectrum has huge influence on coral color, second, photo period can bleach colors at low numbers. I cut back to 4 hours on MH and got terrific results on color and intensity.

John, why did you switch from LED back to the MH?

Got a new FW set-up, liked the color and no big heat gain in tank. Try something new, another experiment. I realy liked the LED and the push button control of everything and zero heat gain. You know me, always try something different.

Did you get good coral growth with the LED?
