More Lighting Questions

OK, forst off, i am getting a 48" TEK and have to buy new bulbs and i have no idea what kind to get. Here is a link to a site that has some bulbs, if somsone can look on there and give me a good combo of (4) bulbs to acheive maximum coral growth and nice color.

and ALSO, what would i be able to keep under 216w of TEK T5 lighting with individual reflectors...???

are you getting the light fixture and the bulbs from the same place? If you are reefgeek.com i think is cheaper and an rc sponsor Its where I got mine from and the guy who runs it is very helpful and helped me get a great combo of bulbs for my lighting.

I am able to keep everything under 4 bulbs with my tek fixture on a 55 - T5s with their reflectors from what I understand don't quite figure in with wattage the same way more traditional lights do.

If this is on your 75 and its the same as a 55 but just a few inches wider? I think you'll be able to keep anything as well. Just acclimate new specimens to the new lighting and know where things like to be placed (sps toward the top etc)

The bulbs im using now are 2x 420nms, a 6500 daylight, and i'd have to check but its either a 460 nm (purple) or the super actinic plus (i think its thi sone) which is sort of an inbetween blue and white

yes, yes it does , and no, im getting my light from Fuzzy on here and the bulbs seperately. But i will ahve to check that out then, thanks Christie
