Amazing the amount of life on these rocks, I just feel so bad that my picture taking ability really stinks and I am not able to capture how incredible it all is. Here are some more...

Can anyone tell what this thing is at the base of the tree, looks like a small circle (donut) with tentacles coming out.

yeah, I say it's Atlantic Cup Coral.

Yes, it's a cup coral, when I looked it up in the "organisms" section of the TBS website, that's exactly what it looked like!

It's growing albeit slowly! As a new steward keeping a reef I feel badly for the critters that have died from my ignorance.

I have only lost one Acropora from Spotty Neucrosis. Otherwise everything is doing great. I accredit it to maintaining good water quality, minimizing my interference with things in the tank and weekly water changes. Also feed heavy as well.
