If you want to connect more than 2 LED-lamps ProfiLux-Simu or Simu-L to a ProfiLux (resp. more than one LED-lamp to a ProfiLux II Light) then you can do this using our active splitter, the LED-lamps are then supplied with power from the shipped power supply and not any more from the ProfiLux.

Power supply and connection cable are included.

Hi,

Sorry i do not quite understand the question?

There will be a new power bar that will work specifically with the PIII as mentioned before.

Original Plus II power bars work with the PIII.

And there are repair kits for power bars if you fry a relay

I not sure if that answers or not?

I think he means to ask if there is any upgrade option or internal rebuild available for existing digital powerbars to make them P3 or P3-equivalent powerbars. I myself would also be interested in this. Not 2-3 months ago I bought 3 digital powerbars for a total of $750 worth and now there is a newer version. I know ... there's always newer stuff, but I was buying stuff to use with my new reef in progress and I haven't even used these yet! It would be nice if we would be able to upgrade the electronics to the new two way communication setup ...

I am worried that I purchased the digital power bar just over a month ago... and if I had waited, i would have been able to purchase the newer power bar with the two way communication.

I read the stick post "why you should buy a profilux now" and purchased it before the new PIII released not knowing that there would be a new powerbar.

So what can we users do to get the new power bar.

Hi

it has been made clear for a long time that there would be a new power bar, the existing power bar works with the PIII so you are not left with anything you can not use.

The PowerBar6D is NOT being superceded and will continue to be sold for both plus II and PIII users. In this case as the PAB power bar is an accessory it is not offered and will not be offered at discount or rebate.

The new power bar will allow for current monitoring of the plug sockets.

These will be offered as an accessory for PIII owners and also do not work with the plus II so could not be offered with the plus II ONLY the PIII

To get a new power bar you will have to wait for their release in November. But as i said above you need the PIII kit to make it work.
