Hey everyone,
I took some (very amateur) shots of my JBJ nanocube 28 gallon FOWLR. I haven't modified the tank so I use the standard sump area at the rear of the tank along with mech and chem filtration (I removed the biological filter pack since I have LR). I'm also running a protein skimmer and vodka dose (it has worked wonders :beer
. Most of the stock (including the Tiger Goby) is from Tampa Bay Saltwater and so from the Florida Gulf Coast.
Using TBSaltwater was one of the best decisions for my FOWLR. There is so much life on these rocks! And it seems like new creatures emerge all the time!
I'm happy that I have quite the copepod and amphipod population (I made a pile of rubble for them in the DT to take refuge in during lights-on) and its fun to watch the nocturnal PJ Cardinal dart around gorging himself when the lights are off.
The tank was started in early January and has done quite well for the most part (thanks to online resources like Reef Central!). The halimeda has suffered because my calcium levels dropped pretty low. I fixed that problem with testing and dosing, so hopefully it will recover. The sponges haven't done very well, but the barnacles are still hanging on.
I plan on adding some more small fish -- perhaps a gramma and a firefish -- over the next few months.
Thanks for checking out my pics and comments welcome:

Also, here are some older shots from when I first set up the tank:

Enjoy!
