Yay! My seagrass arrived today!

I got Halophila engelmannii (star grass) and Hadodule wrightii (shoal grass); both went in the main tank and some of the H. wrightii went in the fuge as well as backup. My female clown proceeded to pull up the grass closest to her. Indeed, as I was quickly wiping the glass (well, wiping at the glass) for some pictures, she was swooshing at me with her tail Indeed, they have taken up residence in the infamous neon green sinularia. (Thanks, Chris.) Nice choice, as this guy will grow fast. The leather is opening every day but I am not seeing any polyps -- I think it's confused.

received my stargrass today as well - love it! mine has to go into a temporary holding tank, will pot it with the same stuff i used for the other grass. the other half of my apartment complex is infested with termintes, water damage and mold, etc. so it looks like the city is coming out for an inspection of all units next week. i have a feeling they're going to tent the place for the termintes. that should be fun :( i'm gonna have to come up with a plan for what that will entail.

i think your tank looks great, can't wait to see the grasses progress and fill in.

Lookin' cool!
too funny on the clowns selecting the sinularia to host in!

I should get you some recent pics of my pond area that are home to your fatty goldfish. Katie did a lot of planting work around it, and it is all growing in well.

your tank looks like a forest! thats awesome!
Under the right conditions, H. wrightii can grow up to 14" tall. "Right conditions" seems to be lots of flow. Most of it is 4-5" tall now.

The H. englemannii tops out at about 5"; what you see there is about 3" tall at the tallest.

Glad the goldfish are doing well, Chris. Are they spawning again this spring?
