So I have seen this like twice or like three times now. I am looking at doing a comunity of Porcupine Puffers. not like 20 or so but starting out with two and some day working up to 3 to 5.

Has anyone else seen this?

Thanks

First off if you are going to do this you will need a very large tank! Secondly I dont think that having more than one of the same species will work in the long run. Maybe if you had different species, like a Diodon holacanthus, Diondon hystris, Chilomycterus shoepfri, etc..... From my experiences puffers of the same species dont get along all that well......but different species are better, but there are always exceptions. Why not a porc and a couple Arothrons?

Like with a lot of fish I think it's a crapshoot :)

I would think your best bet is to add all 3-5 of them at one & if you start with 2 be sure they are different sizes.

I had a porcupine & spinybox n a 150g a while back. The guys would lay together/on top of each other all the time :)

Porc was 2-3x the size of the spiny

Thatââ"šÂ¬Ã¢"žÂ¢s cool,

I had seen this tank once that had like 15 PP in it and some (like 3) of them would lay together. It was so coolââ"šÂ¬Ã‚¦
