Wow! $100 per polyp is insane! I thought the $40 I paid per Armaggedon polyp was expensive.

Envy Orange have been the top of the list for years now (my list, anyway). Thought I had some coming a few months back, but the person (who no longer frequents these forums because she improperly shipped to everyone and nearly everyone lost everythign they paid for
) didn't ship them correctly and refused to work with me (and everyone else for that matter), even after PM'ing me about working it out. I couldn't pay $100 a polyp, but I'd certainly trade just about anything I have for some...

I have not see Envy Orange in person but I got to be honest, they are Orange. Rare is rare but one solid color being $100? Can someone explain to me how that zoo is popular or wanted so badly, again its Orange.

See thats what I am talking about. Those are alot better looking than just plain Orange.
Like the Green, Orange and White.... I would be willing to put money on those rather than Envy Orange.

wow, those are pretty wicked! cant say if they are worth anything. they are only worth something if someone is willing to pay it.
but IMO. things like PPE, purple death, envey orange, only go for the big bucks b/c they were made famous. when i mean *made famous*, i mean after a couple people got their hands on them after they were first introduced to the public.
right after creetin introduced the purple deaths, all the long term zoa collectors new how special they were. but not the masses. i think they probably will fetch a higher price now, than they did when they first came out.
IMO, the desert fox paly is way cooler looking than PPE, purple death, and orange envy. and MUCH harder to find than the PPE.
it seems like anyone who has deep pockets has PPE's now and willing to pay whatever is asked has PPE's now.
how many people with deep pockets can say they have orange enveys, purple deaths, and desert foxes? those are so much harder to find.

btw, how did you get ahold of those? they look like some polyps that came in off some live rock you bought, or maybe hitch hiked in on another coral?
they are very wicked. try to get a clearer picture of the 2nd ones, without the actinic look if you can.
very sweet, one of the better finds i've seen the last couple of months! :thumbsup:
