this is mine :D

I actually just got some of those from him yesterday, and I'm happy to say they are identical to the picture!

The one I can't find is the Purple Death Paly, all the others at the top of my list I've been able to find. Everyone I ask with these has a waiting list going.

both of you guys who got the "orange PE" will have to take a picture of it beside the RPE morph that looks exactly the same.

i still say the OPE people are selling is really an RPE that has faded under brighter 10k lighting. its too coincidental that no one ever sold or advertised anything as an OPE (except the orange envy that looks way different than an RPE), until that pic of an OPE went up on ZoaID back in the spring of this year.

IMO I wont believe the OPE stuff until i see the RPE morph that also has the stripes put side by side in the same tank (same lighting), let both adjust in the light for a month or so and then take a pic and see the difference. no one to date has yet to post a pic of an OPE and RPE side by side, even though people have said they'll get around to it. that makes me really wonder....

again, JMO. i think its a big marketing hype to make a profit off of something "orange" b/c the orange envy polyps were going for hundreds of dollars.

I will look forward to ya'lls results in comparison to the RPE's.

....also, they are listed as palythoa on that website... PE's are not even close to what palythoa really look like.

don't mean to hi-jack, but can someone post some of the best sites to find rare/exotic zoos and other corals? my hdd went kaboom and lost all my links, thanks.

I almost forgot the other one I really want to find, the Ruby Red/Whodah's Red Wine type with the red spotting.
http://www.exoticreefs.us/repository/whodah/whodah_red_wines.html

Unfortunately, the only Red People Eater type I have is the one that looks like PPE with a red skirt instead of a green one. If someone would like to donate a frag of the striped RPE(or sell a frag cheap), I'd gladly take monthly comparison photos with my Canon Rebel. I am currently using stock aquapod lighting, but am seriously considering a 70w or 150w SunPod with 14k lighting to put over my 12g AquaPod.

I don't worry about them being listed as zoos/palys, he seems to list small polyped ones as zoos and large polyped ones as palys. I have however seen ones very similar to people eaters described as Protopalythoa vestitus...unfortunately web published zoanthid taxonomy is hard to find and IMO genus and species names are sketchy at best, the extremely common Yellow Polyps don't even have a name! I got the above name from this site:

Could be, though in Ultimate Frags' case, he just looked up the pic on ZoaID and went with the name that he had found there.

Purple death is tops on my list. I remember them being sold on here, but the bank account would not allow it, heres to hoping!

Well you are.....strat you own topic with the same subject and I'm sure someone will reply.

Anyone else have something to add. Which are the most expensive zoo's paly out right now.

Most expensive one's now are ReefEnvy's Envy Orange PPE, at $500 a polyp. Most expensive doesn't however mean most wanted in my case though. I am more than happy with my Ultimatefrags version.
