Mounting AI hydra 26

So I have a little issue with mounting the AI hydra 26, I noticed they sell either the hanging kit or the bracket which you have to drill into the stand. Both options for me is a no go, is there anyone that's done a diy bracket that doesn't need to be screwed into the stand? Possibly something like the AI prime bracket

AI makes rails that rest on top of your tank, will these work for you?

Why can't you drill the stand? Only other way is to hang it from either the roof or wall or make a stand that rests on the tank rim.
