Mounting an overflow box

SP1187

Greetings.

I'm currently in build mode for a 150 Tall (48 x 24 x 30).
I'm using a Reef Savvy Ghost Overflow.
The question I have is, have any of you gone through the side glass instead of the back glass? And if so have you found any negatives to this.
The tank is going to be an in wall with a fish room behind.

Thanks
Mike

i have seen lots of tanks with the side against a wall such as dividing a room . you can for sure put over flow box on the side of the tank.. as always be sure its not Tempered..

^^^What she said^^^

But if it's in-wall with a fish room behind, I would put it on the back just for ease of access and plumbing

access won't be a problem.
and I'm determined not to have anything showing, overflow, pumps etc., from where I sit in the room. drives me bonkers.
