Mounting surge protectors

I need to mount my surge proctectors in my cabinet. Is there a way to do that besides screwing them? Could you Velcro them or something like that?

Superglue?

Velcro is probably a decent way but the quality of the adhesive and the surface area of the velcro will determine how well it stays.

Screws are the most secure. You could (carefully) screw it to the inside of the stand and use a bit of scrap lumber to keep the screws from penetrating too far into the stand itself if you're worried about piercing it...

Mounting it inside the stand will also keep it away from children, either yours or nephews/cousins/etc. Just watch out for humidity/proximity if you have a sump.

I staple gunned a couple zipties to the inside of the cabinet and then zipped the power strip to them. Easy and more secure then velco adhesive.

If you go to the hardware store there is double sided stickies you can get that will hold up to five pounds. Works great for mounting anything I need

i used heavy duty velcro for the power strips that came with my controller. Works very well and it's actually pretty hard to rip off.
