Moving...... MOVED. Was actualy OK.
So Lydie and I moved to the newplace. I said GOOD RIDDANCE to the old place, the drama in Cohoes, and all the f-ked up crap from the past 5 years and hopefully able to now live mylife as I want with a landlord who just minds his own buisness and allows people to "live and let live" as they see fit. Got a 1 year lease, so unless something majorly messed up happens, I know things will be stable on the homefront atleast. Sofar this townhome complex is nice, and neighbors seem cool. There is 4 units to a structure, all seperate enterances, and I'm are on the first floor. It's nice. all the furnature fit, no need to take doors off the hinges, NO STAIRS (*YAYAYAYAY !) still has Washer/Dryer hook up, AND... a lot better sound proofing (hehehe) and insulation. The apartment has stayed at about 73-78 degrees for 15 days now and I have not had the heat on at all despite it gettig down to about 30-40ish at night. Although it is a bit smaller by 1 room, the rooms are bigger. Only problem...... I have no studio room now to do projects and hobby stuff in. Girl living upstairs is quiet, so thats good.
I DO have a patio though...... so that is a very big bonus.... because the stove (saddly) is electric, and I hate cooking on wire rings, but I make do
EVERYONE in this devlopment seems to concur; because they ALL have BBQ grills out on the patio/porches..... LOL. Temporarily I have a lot of crap in the house that needs sorting through. 5 years of "well I could use this sometime soon"..... yeah, now it's CHUCK-IT-OUT time. I have a dumpster at this newplace... it's awesome ! no garbage cans or curbside bullsh!t "errrr we can't take that...... it may be toxic paint cans".... bullsh!t from garbageman with nothign else better to do than be lazy and not read the lable says NON-TOXIC HOBBY RESIN. tards.
well, no more
The cats are calmer now, but small scuffles are still popping up. They spent a week locked in the bathroom they have been out of 2 days now, and sofar, no serious turf wars between Tallie, Creamy and Junk.
The reeftank moved well (thanks for the help DAN ! ) and no spike in cycle, so it will hopefully do better now in a temp-controlled environment ( YAY ! CENTRAL AIR) and eleminate the temp spikes that plagued me during the summer months despite having AC's running. The 10 gallon moved ok also.
I STILL HAVE THAT 65 GALLON FOR SALE !!!!! it is on my back porch, because I have nowhere to fit it in here right now.
Anyone want it ?
Springtime, I plan on screening in the back patio. will be nice to have a place to sit and chill at night and not worry about being eaten up by skeeters...... if I still have that 65 gallon, I'll turn it onto a HOTTUB
Thanks to all who helped move, and I plan on having a housewarming/Holiday get together for CDMAS, and hopefully my reef will re-grow and flourishing in a few months time.
