Moving a colt coral?

Hey there, I have a colt coral that is very much attached to the same rock that my condi anemone is also attached to. My condi has been on this rock for like 3 months so I think hes going to stay put. The condi has gotten so big that he is about to overtake the colt. So the question is how can I move the colt? Can I pry him loose or cut him loose? Please help before the anemone kills the colt!

well what you can try to do is cut the bottom of the colt and frag him to another rock. heres a video that can help yo on how to frag a colt coral its very simple. go to reef-on.com and then click on coral propagation and then the video that says video on colt coral propagation. i did about 3 months ago and my colt is huge i have three now it looks awesome.

but if you have corals you really shouldnt have anemones in there they will et agressive. and if this occurs again you should move the anemone or even get rid of him most stores will trade with you

I got him from a friend who was gonna toss him! I didnt really expect him to live let alone tripple in size! That being said how can I remove the anemone from the rock?

JUST PUT YOUR FINGER ON THE BASE AND WIGGLE IT AROUND. SORT OR SHOVING YOU FING UNDERNEATH HIM AND HE WILL SORT OF PRY LOSE. TOTALY HARMLESS THATS HOW THEY DO IT IN THE STORS
