Moving between tanks

It appears my nano 16G tank has a vermetid outbreak my kenya tree is covered in the stringy mess and my zenia's are not pulsating now. My mushrooms are open and seem ok so far. What I wanted to know was would it be safe to transfer my mushrooms and some pineapple sponge to my new 120G tank or do I risk brining along vermetid eggs? I have some coral dip but not sure if that will help. Should I play it safe and try and kill these thing before I transfer to a new tank?

i would suspect the vermetids would find there way into the new tank. there are a few things that prey on vermetids i would look into that if i were you.
i have a pretty good amount of vermetids in my tank and they only seem to come out at times when i scrape the algae off the glass or i feed phytoplankton and they usually only stay out for about half an hour. are yours staying out alot more??

I can see some of them, but I am seeing a lot of left over stringy junk. It seems to have gotten entangled into my kenya tree and it won't open up. the polyps appear covered in that stringy stuff. The vermetid stringy junk is the only thing I can think it is.
