So I placed a mushroom anemone type coral on a spot on my live rock only to wake up to it in a different spot the next day. I figured maybe the current knocked it off and put it back where I had it. Then I started reading about them more and researching. I woke up again the next morning and it was in the same exact spot it was in when it moved the night before. Is it safe to say thats where it wants to be in this little corner where two rocks form almost a right angle?

i have some small pieces of PVC PIPE 2 inch x 2 inch tall and some bigger. I have some 1x2 inch fishnet over one end of them. I put the mushroom on the rock i want it to attach to in a low flow area of the tank . Then i put the pcv pipe over the mushroom and leave it be for a few days to a week. Depending on the mushroom it will attach itself to that rock. Then put that rock where i want the mushroom to be. They Almost always stay....

This is true . i assume its a mushroom not a anemone ..Mushroom coral do attach to the rocks with a FOOT Like a anemone does.
