Moving need advice

I am currently living south of Des Moines, and will be moving to Ankeny in about 2-3 weeks. I have a 72 bow front that needs moved, what is the best way to do this? I also want it drilled and resealed during this time, it is an all-glass tank, can it be drilled? Is their anyone that can drill and seal in Des Moines area? What should I do with live stock during this time?
thanks,
Mike

How old is the tank, does it leak? Being a bowfront Im leary of resealing it. If you need to borrow some buckets let me know. E-bay 4 the glass hole saw. Youtube for diy aquarium drill. drill only the back or sides of that. Good luck

Get some rubbermaid containers to house the livestock, rock, and as much water as you can. Move and prepare everything you can before tearing down the tank (lighting, skimmer, sump, etc). Pull the livestock and water, store in tanks or buckets at the new place, run back, fully empty the tank, clean it, razor blade the silicon and drill the backside (as far as I know All Glass only tempers their bottoms.) Depending on the size of the hole you're drilling I may have a diamond hole saw for you to use. After a few hours for the silicon to *almost* fully cure, run it to the new place, set up, and enjoy life. It's a little more involved if you have a deep sand bed. Shallow sand bed is no problem, just as easy as a barebottom.
