I have a 150g setup with a yellow tang, hippo tang, 2 clown fish, coral buety angel fish and 2 3 stripe damsels and a clean up crewand a lawnmower blenny, and we are going to be moving from Pa to Tx question, is there any way to move the livestock? Would it be better to sell livestock and just try and move rock and sand? Any help would be great,This tank is way to big to move even partially full. Please help.

Well with that type of move you are taking a chance with the livestock. What will the transit time be? You can probably get away with putting the livestock is seperate rubbermaid containers but you will need a way to aerate the water and heat it. If it were me I would probably look to find a good home for the livestock and replace it when I get setup again. I would rather see my fish go to a good home then take a chance an loose them in transit. Good luck with whatever you decide. I have a nice 300 gallon tank that can fit some livestock if you are interested.....:D

thanks RBU1 we don't have a defanite move date yet but if we decide to sell I know I don' want to ship anything. I am just exploring all my options early so plans can be made.

What about finding a good fish store on the receiving end to house the fish until you were ready for them? I'm sure tank space wouldn't be that hard to rent. My LFS has offered to house fish for me. They also offered to receive a delivery for me, you could probably shop your fish to them. It's probably an option.
