Moving RBTA, good or bad idea? (pics)

so the little guy wedged itself in the side of my tank were i cant feed it to easily and there's not a whole lot of light there. I know its only been in a week and i should be patient but i thought I'd try some less drastic ways to move it.

since i dont have powerheads i tried directing flow at it:

left that there for three days and that didnt work at all. so i tried gently peeling at the base. didnt even get part of the edge up so rather than damaging the foot i let it be.

so now i'm trying to black it out and maybe get it too move:

Is this going to cause it too much stress? i gave it a day or two in-between methods to help it re-cooperate. the base is firmly attached, mouth is closed and its eating.

I would just let it move to where it feels comfortable. It looks a bit bleached so I would recommend feeding a little more often to help regains its health.

yeah the guy i bought it from didnt have it under any day bulbs? he had it under a white bulb, whatever that means lol. so is blacking it out a bad idea? i'm trying to because its extremely hard to feed it since the LR is right against the glass above it.

Is it possible to flip the rock up - or turn the rock around? So rather than trying to move the nem - you move the whole rock?

my bta is doing the same
i bought him yesterday and the lfs said they had him for 2 weeks. they told me they had not fed it because "nems dont need to be fed and dont need bright light". they had it under a single t5.
the mouth was closed and it looked pretty healthy. 30 min after placing it in my display he started to move into a rock crevice. now he is completely inside and i cannot see the mouth at all and he is in a location difficult to get to to feed.
i think part of the reason he moved in there was because acclimation and he isnt used to my metal halides. he also looks to be splitting but i cant tell for sure because i cant clearly see the mouth, but it could be possible.
i think im just gonna let him be for about a week and if he doesnt come out or i see his condition worsen i will manually move him.

yours looks to be kind of in the same condition. your rbta looks pretty bleached and probably isnt acclimated to the high intensity light

kimsie- no way to move the piece its on. there's too large pieces of LR ontop of it with coral already attached.
comp|ex- definately could be acclimating still. it does look super bleached. If i didn't know any better i would guess it's a large shroom since the tentacles aren't extended much at all. could be due to its size too. I'll update soon

Keep in mind it has the ability to move itself if its unhappy, I would leave it be................................................................
