Moving sale~~Thief River Falls, MN~~$10 ORA Frag Sale!!

I have tried to get involved the best that I can, but distance and gas money always seem to interfere. I am tearing down my reef tanks as we plan to move here within the next month. I was hoping to sell locally, (some have indeed sold locally). Will ship at your expense, but that seems kinda expensive. A couple of the fish are spoken for. All that doesn't sell will be shipped to a friend in Florida. Everything is dirt cheap. Peeves me off to tear it down, but my career/family come first.

Equipment will sell when livestock is gone. You know what I have, let me know.

All frags are $10. Some are ORA (still on the black plug). I don't know names (these days, I just can't keep up), but I can post the following pics. Search my name, there are other posts showing a variety of corals I have. All are healthy and growing very well. I have flatworms (and a rare bottle of Levimisole) but they don't seem to be hurting anything. I also seem to be good at growing hair algae. No matter, corals are all doing well.

what kind of sps frags do you have. I see some are more like colonies than frags or are you just going to frag the colonies? Depending on how many you have i would have to get a bottle of melafix but i am sure i would try out which ones you have that i dont. I would prefer to leave them as big as possible. what fish are available, the butterfly?

Some frags are bigger than others. I don't know all the names. Some Montipora's (Caps and Digitatas), Acropora and some Millepora. Other than the Mille colony, just about everything else is $10 including the fish. The tank pic is kinda old, as the corals have grown quite a bit. I have fragged the Candy Cane in front into 5 pieces. I can frag the red mille colony if need be. I don't have the large copperband anymore, but I do have a smaller one. I have 2 shrimp, 1 starfish, 1 yellow tang (may be spoken for), 1 Percula Clown (may be spoken for), 1 Lawnmower blenny, and I think that's it....

I have a lot going on at the moment (being laid off), so please be patient with me. I want to move this livestock ASAP and am willing to work with you.

I also have 50 - 100 lbs of live rock, most of it has mushrooms/zoas on it. Other rock have sps corals on it too. I'm not trying to get rich her, just trying to find a home for this livestock.

when you get to the equipment, do you still have your octopus skimmer? are you selling it? and how much? that is my next investment for my tank.

Uh, you have me confused with someone else. I have never owned an Octopus. Would love to try one of the Extreme models though!! If you are referring to my Volcano, a lucky individual in New York now owns it and has big plans for it. I bought a used Tunze 9015 for the interim.

Just to clarify, I do not have a 18og tank, I have a 180g system (total volume). The tanks are an AGA 40g breeder drilled in the back and an Oceanic 58g RR tank. Obviously those will be the absolute last to go. Also have a 100g Rubbermaid stock tank, drilled at the bottom for my return.

Also, I hoped not to ship because in this cold *** weather around here (-20's easily), I cannot guarantee anything. Besides, I have a few shipping containers, but not a lot and zero heat packs. FedEx will probably charge $50 for overnight shipping. SpeeDee Delivery would be like $10 overnight (if you live nearby - in their shipping zone), but I still cannot guarantee anything.

Again, I don't know all of the corals names. I never took time to figure them out. I do know that most are ORA frags as you can see with the black frag plugs. There are some Acropora, Millepora, M. Capricornis, M. Digitata, misc zoas, mushies, paly's, and so on.

The frags are way cheap (live rock too) so I can move them ASAP. Someone from down in the Twin Cities should buy it all and split it up and sell. You'd earn your money back plus some!! I am busy packing, tying up loose ends and finding a new job. So I won't be making and deliveries to the city anytime soon. Sorry.

I have a bunch of equipment, but have not listed that because that needs to be the last to go. I purposely did not list what I have, because I am not ready to field questions on that subject. If you come for corals, see if you want any of the hardware. But yes, everything is for sale. I hope you can pick it up to make the remaining time I have here as pleasant as can be.

Thanks.

what are we looking at for a price for all the sps in your tank. I would consider it as a package.
You should post in the nrmc web site as well there are alot of locals on there that i think would be interested. Garret i know is thinking he would like some stuff. Would you consider meeting in bemidji next weekend. I will be over there for a meeting at garrets.

I cannot meet in Bemidji next week. Who's to say that I will have free time to mess with this stuff (possibly/hopefully will have some interviews). My goal is to have all of the livestock gone by next week so I can start tearing down my system and prepare for a move of all my household goods. So, that is why I have marked my corals $10 a frag and liverock will be sold by the chunk, not by the pound. I was hoping interested parties would stop by. I cannot list a price for the whole thing because I plan to part it out (opposite of what most do I am sure). So far I have had only one local stop by and get stuff. Still plenty left. PM for phone number and directions.

James. Very sorry to hear about your situation. I heard on news about arctic cat laying off people on TV last night. Hope your family and you are okay and get through these difficult times. If you have ORA frags I would be interested. I agree that shipping would be expensive so may be we can meet half way between TRF and GFK or if you are coming to town let me know. Again sorry man...

Thanks Vishnu. I don't have any plans to go to GF. The idea behind the low prices on everything is so that it would go quick and that it would be picked up. There are enough locals to clear me out and I know the prices are reasonable, especially around here. If things don't go, then the LFS here in town is going to get a very nice surprise.

To bad you weren't closer.

Hey, you live in that town where the dude froze to death after passing out when he left the bar. WHOA!! Corals are slowly moving out the door. Lots interested but only one has shown up to buy anything.

Andre, when are you coming again?!?
