Moving Sarcophyton

Avian

I have a sarcophyton spp. toadstool leather, that I would like to move to a different part of the tank. Unfortunately, it is attached to a rock at the bottom of the pile and attached to another on it's side. Would there be a better method than just ripping it off the two rocks and placing it somewhere else? Thanks

Yes, you should be able to just slice it off.... they are very hardy. You'd probably want to try doing it outside of the tank and let it sit in a bucket of tank water for awhile as it will probably release toxins into the water.
