Moving SPS

I have read to acclimate SPS specifically acropora to start them at the bottom of the tank and then move them up after a couple weeks depending on light intensity.

I have also read that moving them stresses them and not to move them.

So what is it? Move them or don't move them?

Constantly moving them around does stress them and shouldn't be done. However, starting them off at the bottom and then moving them after a few weeks higher, is perfectly fine and usually recommended.
