Biggar New member Mar 3, 2012 #2 I put 100 pounds of new sand with established live rock during a move and didnt need to acclimate. I used bioalive and dry. Get the wet bio aragonite You should be ok if everything else is established and your sand is a good quality brand.

nivram New member Mar 3, 2012 #3 You will probably go thru a mini cycle. I would keep an eye on your parameters daily. How deep of a sand bed are you going to make?
