Moving to Denver

I'm moving to Denver in August for school and I'm bringing my tanks, 34g solana and new, well new to me, 100g. I'm going to be living around DU/Wash Park. I got most my reef/fish through sdreefs.com forum and local stores so i was wondering...
-What are some local fish stores in the area? Are some more focused on certain corals, fish, equip etc
-Are there any fish runs in Colorado? In San Diego people would make some extra cash by driving to LA and buying fish/corals once a month at some large wholesale warehouses for people.
-Are there group buys from online stores/ebay that you all get involved with?
Anything else I'm not thinking of that's important about colorado and reef/saltwater tanking?
Thank you and hope to meet some of you soon

There are some great fish stores in the area with Aquamart closest to you (and likely the best). They are at 285 (Hampden) and Wadsworth. Other good choices are Key's Island, Neptune's Tropical and the frag swaps held by the various clubs.

We don't have the privilege of driving to LA and visiting wholesalers like you are used to. You'll find prices here are higher than what you'd pay in Cali.

We do have group buys which run periodically. You can start your own or jump on one that is underway. The club has discounts with many on-line vendors.

Depending on when you are arriving, there are a couple of frag swaps coming up soon. DARC is running a Frag swap in September and SCMAS is running FragStock in October at the Downtown Aquarium. This is an event not to be missed!!

We have a pretty big group of fraggers in the Front Range with several folks running businesses selling stuff on-line and locally.

Welcome to Denver!!!!!
