Moving to your neck of the woods

Just Keep Swimming
Well looks like a move south is in the for cast here in the near future. Wifey got a great job offer down in the folsom area and finalized things today.

Prolly be looking for a spot in the Roseville to folsom area. Any advice on sweet areas round those parts welcomed. Be searching for a place over the next few months I imagine. Think I may be taking the 90 down this week and get her transfered into a holding tank for the time being to help with an easier move.

Haha - my tanks been full for a long time.lol but can always find a new spot for something. My lfs experiences have turned more into the older gentleman we'll say :) fly fishing store trip - I'm here for the coffee n convo - but can't say that every time I walk in I'm not hoping to see a Lil gem to take a chance on to fill that next to the last spot. Love them all just for the environment but there are definitely ones that will tend to take all or more of my money :)

I'm more excited for the wider variety of hobbiests and what they grow n offer. Love trading corals and it's sweet when so many different types are being grown and able to self propigate with hobbiests trades. I do also love seeing all the new stuff when I head that direction.

Thanks guys and gals - looking forward to it. Actually looking forward to taking the 90 down. not sure if she will be going back up? But I will have a lot of extra stuff.

I am in Roseville. We have plenty of new schools and development. Best decision I made for my kids. Fyi, Both folsom and Roseville normally get our water at the folsom dam. We have low Tds, more suitable for reefing. Clean snow water.

Now that's what I like to hear. I only run a 4 stage RO di and was hoping with the move I wouldn't need to upgrade to an 8 stage super killer unit.lol to keep my corals alive. Been a lot of water issues around cali recently with our last year water status and results.

Always into a sunshine shindig - nothing better. Just got done making my temp holding tank stand tonight - all out of wood lying around I would be leaving in the move -left over stain n seal - overall cost - nothing - love that - and it looks good if I don't say so myself.

I think the far eastern side of Sacramento Country all draw water from Folsom Lake. There are a few city water districts that also supplement their water from Folsom Lake with well water. Fair Oaks, Orangevale, Citrius Heights, Roseville, and Carmichael fall into the well water supplementation.

Folsom has hwy 50, Roseville has 80, 80 always seems to have traffic, even in non commute times (esp the marconi curve!)
