MP 10 on 1/2" glass?

Is it possible to mount an mp 10 on 1/2" thick glass? I currently have a Mp 40 on one side and need something else on the other but another mp 40 would be over kill not to mention the price difference.

i have them on my 57 rimless which is 1/2" glass only thing is you gotta make the square sticky block about 2"-3" right above so it holds the weight of the cord... for the record it is not recommended by ecotech to put it on 1/2" glass... and my wet side has fallen off twice but ive had it up for over a year so ill take it... Dont know if you can tell from this pic but you can kinda see the white sticky part inside the tank

Nickdog,

The MP10 is rated for aquariums up to 3/8" of an inch. Please make sure the dryside is mounted securely via our hanging tabs if you plan on using the pump on 1/2" glass, because the dryside and wetside may not stay coupled.

In addition to mount the dry side securely, if the wet side often fall of, I would use a fishing line to keep the wet side to fall.
