MP-40 flow setting

What do you guys and gals have yours running at(mode and speed)running my new one on reef crest and random with flow max 2 down from top speed?

Reef Crest, have the knob turned about half way I guess.

Sorry Grant but I'm on a small island off Rhode Island at the moment and will have to check my mp40 settings when I get home. While I know it is running on reef crest mode (orangeish), I'm not positive of the "max power" setting. Offhand I'd say I keep it at about the 3:00 position, which is roughly 80% of max.

My mp20 on my lps tank is running at about 1/2 power as it scours out a 6" diameter clean spot in the sandbed about a foot in front of it ('cuz that tank is only 12" deep).

I would like to have time to experiment with the pulse modes, as I think it would be possible to find a wave like pulse setting.

I have a used first gen so i just run it at full flow all the time. I want to upgrade to ecosmart soon though.
