thanks, but I've already done several times without result! rattle them non stop
I suppose the rattling is from the wet side and humming from the dry side. Sadly the "quality" control for dry side isn't the same. The unit which I bought in 2010 doesn't hum whereas the unit I bought in 2012 hums, noticeable when u turn up the speed (last 3 leds speed range).
As I seldom use that speed range so no one hears it till last wk I tried and my wife told me she heard someone singing!!! There's nothing u can do to the dry side.
For the wet side,
1)u can press and hold the mode button till the center knob flashes white. The speed of the pump should be reduced.
2)Place your ear onto the glass, listen for the rattling sound.
3)using one hand slowly adjust the wet side, u should be able to hear the difference in the loudness of the rattling.
4)after u have adjusted the wet side, press and hold the mode button to wake back the pump.
5) place your ear to the glass again and listen and minor adjust slowly as the pump is in fast speed.
The reason for step 4 & 5 is I ever encountered once I adjusted the wet n dry side but after a while I heard rattling sound. Somehow the wet side has moved....? I use the magnetic glass cleaner and clean again the glass and solve the problem.
