MP 40W to ES?

I have an older mp40 and am getting an mp40es. Will they be compatible? Also, will that be enough on a 200 gall tank. (Not set up yet)?

Sohal,

You will be able to link your two pumps in a master and slave relationship, but your older MP40 will not be compatible with the ReefLink. That said, I would recommend taking a look at our VorTech flow calculator found here: http://ecotechmarine.com/calculator/

But its not wireless. Do i need to upgrade my older one? I don't understand how they communicate with each other. Will they both be doing the same thing?

My apologies, if you have an older non-wireless controller, it will not be able to communicate with other EcoTech devices. You are able to purchase a new MP40wES controller to replace your older non-wireless one however.
