I've been reading it can be done, and if you send it in ecotech will do it for a fee, even found a post from a ecotech rep giving max distance. Just haven't heard the results of anyone that tried it. Anyone here have any experience good or bad?
Lol sorry guess I deleted a sentence. I've got 2 fried drivers and there is no waranty. So thinking about doing it myself. I've seen lots of people say they were going to do that but no one posts the after.
Was actually pretty easy. Cut 1 cord loose from controller cut the other from one dry side that was pulling out of dry side. I had read that you can only extend up to 8ft so I did about 6. Then striped back and soldered them together. Shrink tubed the individual conductors and one more over the whole thing and done.
