I cannot find anything on the vortec site saying what mode each color is. Like is purple lagoon mode? Does anyone know what each color is or have a link?

Green=constant

Yellow= ReefCrest and Lagoon

Purple=Tidal Swell and Nutrient Transport

Blue= Short Pulse and Long Pulse

Orange= Anti-synch mode

White= Synch mode.

I'm thinking of an MP10 for my BioCube 29, and I was wondering, do you need two of them on opposite sides to get the "maximum" benefit out of the different flow modes, or will you get the effect of the mode with just one?

I have one mp40 on my 40B and it seems to take care of business on its own. That thing could push water with decent force from one end of a 6ft tank to another so it's plenty of flow. I also use ReefCrest all the time except before I do a water change. Then I run nutrient transport mode to stir up some junk into the water column for removal.
