MP10 on 3/8" glass

I know it says that the MP10 can be used on glass up to this thickness, but is it pushing it? Is the grip so light that a slight bump sends it falling? Anyone have this on glass that thick? I don't really need all the power of a MP40 so was looking at this as an option.

Thanks,

Brian

No you'll be fine with 3/8's and it's still nice and tight. I use 2 mp10's on 1/2" glass though not recommended I haven't had any issues.

Just purchased my 3rd Vortech pump for my 90 gallon acrylic reef system, a MP10, which the walls on my tank are 3/8" thick and my new MP10 is performing excellent.

With the addition of the new MP10, I also have two MP40's and the Reeflink controller.

The Vortech pumps are the best you can purchase and with the Reeflink controllability, it's the best on the market.

The follow patterns you can create are ridiculous.

Thanks,
Randy
