MP10 Powering Off

I have a brand new MP10 that is a week old or just over a week old by a couple days if that. I had it paired to my Apex via WXM and everything worked fine. I noticed it was on when it shouldn't be. Looked under the stand and it was in constant mode when it shouldn't be in that. Pull up my Apex and it shows off for the outlet so it shouldn't have been on like I had suspected. Tried to change some things and no response. So I am thinking maybe it just came unpaired. So went through the steps to pair it to my WXM, cleared the memory and so on and it flashed blue/yellow showing it was pair. Great, well it got stuck there and stayed on that no matter why I did, it just flashed yellow/blue. So I unplugged it and when I plugged it back up it powers up and goes through the boot up then 2 seconds later it powers off. All the connections are good, green light on the power supply for the MP10, pump is clean as a whistle as it is brand new, good connection between the wet and dry side. Unplug it and plug it back up. Does the same thing, powers on for 2 secs then shuts off. Power won't stay on and I have no idea as to why this is happen. Any suggestions?

-Thanks!

Is the light flashing when it turns off? I had a similar issue a few years ago and it was due to a safety feature built in that supposedly detects if the wet side and dry side get disconnected. I disabled the feature and never had the problem again. If I remember right, it flashed red and white.

Apart from that, I would rule out a problem with the apex. Clear the memory on it again and run it disconnected from the wxm. If it still had the problem, it's obviously not the apex. If it doesn't, it might be the wxm module. You could try updating the wxm module if you're not on the latest release.

No the light isn't flashing when it turns off, It just shuts off after two seconds as soon as you add power. You can only add power from unplugging it then pluggin it back up. Power button doesn't work at all. I don't have the Pump Disconnect Protection turned on. I can't clear the memory because the unit won't stay on long enough to clear the memory unless there is a way to do it from a powered off state. The only thing I can do is put it in firmware update mode. The WMX and Apex are all running the current firmware as well as the MP10. I am completely stumped.

Well called EcoTech and they told me something wasn't right so they are sending me a new driver no questions asked.
