mp40 cord question

Probably a dumb question but the instructions say to put the cord on the dry side going up.I have mine going down and that puts the dry side upside down.Does that have any bearing on the operation of the wet side?

The cord runs up just in case it gets knocked around it dont fall off and hit the floor.

It has no bearing at all on the wet side. You can run the cord any direction, just be sure you have it ziptied to the adhesive tab that sticks to the glass. That is what catches it should the dry and wet side uncouple.

I've been running both my MP40's with the cord going down for 9 months now... No issues yet.

I asked the exact same question when I got my MP40s too.. Not dumb at all!
