I think you have to upgrade to the qd. I dont think they mae parts for the regular mp's anymore

One of my MP40w is making unusual noises - it is not a consistent steady noise - sounds a bit more ugly than the usual steady churning.

Vinegar bath (as I do periodically) did not help. I only took apart the cage and back piece - did not unscrew the prop mechanism. What might this be? What are common "break downs"?

Do you have the wet side with the nut on the top of the prop? If so they wear out. My old wet side had the nut on top and it started to get loud, hard to align and I put a new wet side on and it fixed the problem. Mines a MP40Wes
