Mp40 not working

I just got it about two weeks ago. Suddenly the wet side won't move and the light blinks red and green. I ended up taking it apart which was a little tricky. It was very difficult to remove the magnet from the wet side. Both the magnet and the wet side were badly worn. I put it back together, turned it on and it started making an awful noise.

I ended up emailing ecotech but they are off for the weekend and now I'm out of a pump. It's pretty frustrating spending $500 and have this happen. I hope it gets resolved quickly, my sps depend on it.

Don't worry, Ecotech Marine has some of the best customer service and they will surely take care of your problem when they return back on Monday.

I've had my MP40 for about eight months and I love this power head. It's amazing how much water current this pump can move.
