MP40 on rock wall, Ok or bad idea?

So I am finally getting in the vortech game with 2 MP40es. My plan is to put them at opposing ends of my 5' tank. One end is clear and presents no issues but below you will see a picture of the other end where I have created a rock wall with a hole in it for the MP40. Does anyone think this will create an issue? Thanks

Should be fine as long as its not too restrictive. It increases the risk to clean up crew. You might consider putting mesh across the output.
