MP40 programming idea - need help implementing

I want to mimic waves crashing with a long length of calm time in between.

For example, all pumps at 100% for 4 seconds, then all pumps at 30% for 20 seconds.

I'm programming through an apex.

Can this be done without miles of code?

I was looking at pulse mode but I believe the on/off times are equal.

I like that idea. They used to have a feature request area on their website... I just tried to find it and did not see it.
