MP40 Solid Red on Controller

While flashing an older MP40 Gen 2 controller to a a newer firmware on one of my other other Gen 2's so that I can set them all on one of my tanks in master/slave modes, it refused to update then when powered back up has a solid red light. When attempting to perform a reset it will flash red/white but not the blue. So its not permitting the reset at this time. Any thoughts or suggestions at this time?

I have unplugged the power supply for a while and then plugged back in, no good. It doesn't have the separate RF card, I looked. Thought maybe it was bad and I could remove it and plug back in and use it. I'm praying that it's not bricked, this is no the season to be purchasing new equipment. :sad2:

Bill,

It sounds as though the controller is stuck in a failed firmware update error. I would recommend attempting the firmware update again to resolve the issue.

You're correct Alex. After I typed out the message I got to thinking. I had to update it from the other controller though not the one I was attempting.
