MP40 tank thickness

I am about to get a custom built tank from another local reefer, it is a 100 gallon tank 40x28x21, it was made with 1 inch acrylic so the bad boy does not have even the slightest bow. My question the MP40 states that the max thickness is .75", but I dont want to spend for a MP60 especially since I think it will be completely over kill on this tank. Do you guys think the MP40 will hold up on an inch acrylic?

Not really. I would get a single mp60. It will give the entire tank proper flow.

You mean overkill like inch thick acrylic on a 21" tall tank

HA, ya I didnt have it built a friend of mine did. But tell me about it this thing is amazing, zero bow on the long side.
