MP40ESW question

I already have an MP40ESW and I have been looking to get a second since I will be going sps dominant. I can grab a non es mp40 for a good price. Question is would it matter if it's non es since it will be working in slave mode on my es version?

You are able to sync EcoSmart controllers with older style wireless drivers, but you will be unable to use the EcoSmart modes. They are only available to you through EcoSmart controllers.
