MP40QD questions

I own two MP40 QD's, still new in box for the upcoming reboot of my 120.
These are the first Vortech's I've owned, so forgive the questions if they seem a bit silly....

Will the MP40 QD's work with previous generation MP40 wetsides, or only the QD wetsides?

Is there a certain model battery back up unit that will work with these, or are the battery back up units a "One-Size-Fits-All" kinda thing?

Please don't feel silly! The new MP40wQD is compatible with older style wetsides and vice versa. Additionally, the Battery Backup is compatible with any Battery Backup. The pumps age and model will not matter.
