Can you DIY dry side gasket?
It's it ok to run without one?

Also what seems like a problem in this pump. ..?After cleaning became very loud. Loud with and without gasket.
Tried various things positioning wet and dry. It's half inch glass. Tried that setting and 5/8.... no improvement.

Cleaning how? Did you take the wet side apart? I've had noise issues when a snail or chunk of something hard gets beneath the wet-side shroud. Clears up when I open up the wet side and clean it out.

Not sure what yo mean about dry side gasket. Are you talking about the rubber part on the tank side of the dry side part? I didn't think they came off, but if it did, I would think you could use a thin sheet of rubber to the same effect (maybe made from a mouse pad?).

I would rebuild the wet side with a maintenance kit. I've had magnets on the wet side swell up on me and rub. Also the quiet drive controller and wetside help out quite a bit
