I would think that given so many people have commented how good the Ecotech service is, I'd get a customer service experience in line with them, but I have yet to get it.
And Ecotech should aim to resolve issues in DAYS, not weeks. It's pretty crappy that they respond after 24 hours, "clean it", wait for you to write "I did", take another day to write "clean it more and check for damage", wait for you to write back "there's wear", and then take another day to write" what is the serial number and manufacture date?" (when you've already given them both in your first message)
Too slow to respond, requires credit cards over the phone as opposed to over a secure form, and frankly a poor methodology when it comes to resolving issues. For these expensive pumps, it should be all about customer service, or people will start moving to cheaper chinese knock-offs.
When you pay $465 for a pump, you shouldn't need to contact customer service twice in a year.
Never again will you get my money, and hopefully more people will read about your poor service and stay away.
