So I just bought this unit used. 2011 unit.

I got it today, I plugged it all in and set it up. When I plugged in the power cord, it came on perfect. Green light. Ran for about 30 sec, then I pressed the mode button.

Apparently that was a mistake, because the unit stopped working and the light went solid red.

I've researched the heck out of this and came up with many different possible issues.

I've tried pressing the mode button and set buttons, doesn't do anything. I found a possible reset, pressing and holding the mode and set button together, that does do something. Gets it to flashing red and green(or yellow?). Thats all though, can't do anything past that.

I even tried running it without the wet side on. Didn't do anything different, still solid red. I cleaned the heck out of the wet side to make sure that wasn't it. Still nothing.

Please help?

Solid red can indicate an issue with the RF module or "Wireless Chip". I would recommend following the steps below to resolve the issue:

1. Disconnect the controller from power
2. Remove the 3 screws from the back of the controller
3. Slide off the knob and separate the two halves of the controller
4. Remove the driver board from the controller
5. In the top left corner of the driver, remove the RF Module that is raised off the driver board
6. Carefully line up the pins and put the RF Module back in place
7. Close the driver casing and power the unit on

That sucks. Sometimes it doesn't pay to buy used equipment in this hobby. You never know how the last owner cared for their products whatever it may be, hope you get it fixed.
