Since Ecotech apparently isn't keeping spare parts on hand to service quite young vortech's I was wondering if anyone had a nice list of substitute parts that might work. In my case, either the nylon screw or nylon nut has stripped on the wet side. Contacted Ecotech and they said to buy a new wet side for $75. Would prefer to avoid that given the replacement parts are probably all of $10 if I could locate them. Nylon nut is on the way, still looking for the screw though.
A shame they stopped making the refurbish kit. Figured there's enough MP40w's around that they'd at least provide that kind of support...
Any suggestions?
