MPW60 wet side quality problem

I've three MPW60 in my thank and unfortunately the wet side of two of them has apparently a quality issue.
After approx. 18 months of workload the rotor get stick and don't turn anymore.
Trying to understand the reason, I noticed that one hole (on the opposite side of the propeller) has reduced his size and the ceramic bar get stick into it. On top of that, the lower part of the rotor is showing the problem well documented in the picture below.
to me it looks clear that the materials/assembly have a quality problem.
something that can always happens. but surprisingly the reaction of Ecotech is that, being expired 12 months from the purchasing date, I've to buy a new wet side. I can just get discounted the transportation costs.
is it an acceptable behaviour?
is it normal that a company that is supposed to sell high quality product try to hide his quality problem in this way?
I'm curious to share with other fellow if they are facing similar problems.

I would recommend contacting your local EcoTech Marine dealer to get a replacement for that wetside.

this is what I did indeed Alex.
the answer was that been expired 12 months, Ecotech don't replace them anymore.
but being that a clear quality problem generated by defective materials or assembly, do you think is this answer fair and acceptable?

Alex Y, I don't think this is the point, since I purchased the pumps directly in US.
what s really matter, it is that MPW60 wet side have a clear quality problem and the way Ecotech customer service has reacted up to now.
if there will be not a different approach in the next hours, I really want to share this situation with other fellows.
just to understand what they think about.
maybe I'll discover to be wrong.
let's see.
