Mr Aqua

Was thinking about starting another nano tank but this time I want to drill it for a sump. I was checking out the 25G 18"x18"18 Mr Aqua tanks. Anyone have experience with drilling one of these? The other option would be a Deep Blue 60 gallon which Id rather have but it allot more $$$.

Just ordered the Mr. Aqua low-iron 18" cube, and it's scheduled to arrive Jan 07. I will be drilling it, and will post how it goes if this thread is still around. It's made out of nice 10 mm (>3/8") glass, which I would imagine to be pretty easy to drill.

I have only drilled my marineland 56 column but I did follow a thread a while back where the person did have a Mr Aqua 25 and they did drill it. Here is the link.

Yes definitely let me know how it goes.

I had an ADA 18g with the same, glass. 1/4" and it was low iron. Drilled very very easily. I put three holes, two 3/4 and one 1/2 all on one side and it held up great. Drilled them all within thirty minutes, just keep water running over the glass.
